Construction & Infrastructure

During the London 2012 Olympic Games, Insight formed trusting relationships with many key commercial leaders.

Since the Games ended we have continued to build a strong rapport with influential members of the industry. It’s been our pleasure to support them in the programmes they have subsequently developed, and we are thrilled to maintain these connections.

In 2015 Insight Executive group was delighted to enter into a joint venture with one of these contacts, working with Actica Consulting to deliver the procurement of the multi-billion pound Houses of Parliament Restoration and Refurbishment Programme. We mobilised a team of six exceptional individuals to lead the two year programme, which resulted in the successful procurement of all works related to the project, as well as the delivery partners.

Senior project leader Alison Mulholland was extremely pleased with the work done on the programme, noting that, “The House of Commons is a very complex environment with several large-scale projects ranging from office refurbishments worth around £100k to the R and R project worth around £3.5 billion.”

She went on to say that, “Insight clearly understand this market. They ensured that time was put aside to speak to both myself as a recruiter, and the managers within the Strategic Estates directorate, to ensure they understood our needs. The information gained from these conversations was then combined with their extensive knowledge and experience. This combination means that Insight can consistently deliver relevant candidates.”

This is just one example of our work in this sector, with other clients including:

  • Thames Tideway Tunnels
  • AECOM
  • Mace
  • London Legacy Development Corporation

Insight keeps me well apprised of opportunities that suit me, they don’t just try and make opportunities that are relevant ‘fit’ me. They listen and understand.
