At Insight Executive Group, we like doing things differently.
We launched IEG in 2014 with a vision of bringing together a team of ambitious, honest recruitment professionals, who could work autonomously, fostering a positive work-life balance. So, when our Associate Director, Rob Parker, wanted to move 120 miles from London to his hometown of Cheltenham to buy a house with his partner, we wholeheartedly supported this decision.
My business partner and I were keen to explore ventures that could see Rob expand his remit, whilst enabling IEG to grow.
“It’s exciting to work for a company that enables its staff to grow the business in new and exciting directions, whilst also being able to focus on what matters to us on a personal level… It’s rare to find a culture that genuinely supports this balance.”
Rob Parker, Associate Director

In April 2018, Rob was offered the opportunity of opening IEG’s second office in Birmingham with our Procurement Specialist, Wayne Farmer. Last week this decision became a reality, with the office’s official launch.
The move has been quite a landmark for Rob and his partner, Maddie, who have since got engaged to marry in 2020, and have wasted no time at all in growing their family, with the addition of Max, the Golden Retriever.
“What makes me really proud, is that this expansion is a true reflection of the vision and the values that we founded Insight upon. Now we’re looking forward to sourcing more talent to join the team in Birmingham and launching a new division later this year.”
Nick White, Commercial Director & Co Founder
Our grounded approach along with our innovative and ethical recruitment methods, appear to be working; our team has grown from 3 to 23. We’ve carefully expanded the sectors that we recruit within, and now, in addition to our base in London overlooking the Thames, we have the ‘iHub’ in the heart of Birmingham – if you’re in the area, do pop by!
“This expansion marks a significant step for IEG, offering a great base for our work in the Midlands and north of England.”
Wayne Farmer, Recruitment Specialist – Procurement
We are already talent spotting and hunting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant for our Birmingham office.
