Insight Executive Group are proud to announce the promotion of not just one, but two team members as we enter the final quarter of 2020.

Senior Consultant, Taj Singh has been promoted to Principal Consultant, and Manager of Procurement & Commercial Management, Andrew Pyman has been promoted to Associate Director.

Throughout an unexpectedly challenging year, Andrew and Taj have demonstrated exceptional dedication and tenacity. The pair have been diligent in looking after their clients and candidates as the coronavirus pandemic shook UK and international markets.

Both individuals have followed the IEG principles of keeping close to their networks and staying ahead of changing trends within their markets. As a result, they have been able to provide the best solutions, at pace, for vital procurement assignments in the healthcare and public sector.

Taj has worked at Insight Executive Group for a little over a year and in this time has made a significant impact within the procurement market. He is the fourth person in the history of the company to have billed 90k in a quarter – a fact that he is characteristically humble about.  Taj’s undeniable honesty, reliability and integrity have been channelled throughout a tough 2020 to successfully develop relationships with numerous new accounts, at a time when many businesses have seen their client-base reduce. His promotion is well deserved, and all the team are celebrating (virtually of course).

Andrew joined the IEG family on a temporary basis in 2015 when he was hired to support IEG’s Co-founder, Richard Collins, just to map out and source procurement recruiters to join the company. At that time, Andrew had fallen out of love with recruitment, having spent several years working within KPI bashing corporate organisations, but he found the atmosphere at Insight refreshingly trusting, open and enjoyable. And he agreed to stay!

Andrew was promoted to Manager of the Procurement & Commercial Management team in  2017 when he also joined the SMT.  Over the last 12 months has led from the front; supporting and developing his team to more than double their annual revenue to over £600k. He has since relished the opportunity to jointly manage the London Head Office where his enthusiasm, sense of humour and incessant whistling habit is loved and appreciated by his team and co-workers. Another well-deserved promotion of 2020.
