This week marks three years since Carrie Haywood joined IEG as an Executive Assistant. Carrie joined the company with a clear intention to further develop her management skills within an organisation that offers comprehensive, holistic training schemes that would progress her career.
In the three years that she has been part of the IEG team, Carrie has made her mark with some outstanding achievements; she has restructured our compliance processes, won numerous HTE and NCS tenders for the company and has received two well-deserved promotions in a short space of time.
As Operations Manager for Insight Executive Group, Carrie now manages a content and efficient Operations Team, as well as working closely with the Senior Management Team to keep the IEG Directors on top of their game.
A huge advocate of the mental health charity, MIND, Carrie has implemented initiatives not only to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace, but also inspired her team mates to raise funds for the cause with passion, dedication, and her overwhelming sense of fun.
Throughout the pandemic, Carrie was determined to support the wellbeing of the team at IEG by opening conversations to encourage people at all levels of the organisation to talk about their lockdown experiences on a regular basis. She also researched wellbeing at work and implemented a company-wide Wellbeing Through Lockdown calendar of activities, which offered everyone in the company the opportunity to take part in various activities for the mind, body and soul, such as: HIIT classes, Yoga sessions, virtual games and the all-important ‘Switch off Your Screens’ time during the day.
To thank Carrie for her achievements and support, true to the Insight style, the IEG team wanted to arrange a personalised token of appreciation on top of the Career Pathway Scheme rewards. They have commissioned a beautiful painting of Carrie’s pet cat, Trudy, who she adopted during the first lockdown.
The gift was virtually presented to Carrie this week, with the whole company on standby to thank her for her support and development in the past three years; and raise a virtual toast to her next three years.
Congratulations and Thank You Carrie!
