At Insight we want to do recruitment differently, and part of achieving that involves maintaining a personal approach – we fill our vacancies with trusted candidates we have built relationships with over time. These relationships are built off the back of recommendations and referrals from within our network. This doesn’t mean we aren’t always looking to expand our network, however.
We just prefer to pick up the phone and have a conversation first. Jobs boards tend to lead to rafts of CVs which stops us from being able to get to know our candidates. We always prioritise a phone-call first and a CV second – everyone benefits from this: we learn more about you, you learn more about the role.
So much of recruitment exists outside of surface level box ticking. Functioning solely on job descriptions and CVs oversimplifies everything. We want to get to know you, what motivates you, what your career goals are, and the best way to do this is by speaking to you directly. This way we can truly find a role that works for you and for our clients, both in terms of your knowledge and experience, but also your temperament and personality.
