International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It is also a time to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to achieve gender equality around the world.
At Insight Executive, we are proud to support International Women’s Day each year and to stand with our clients and candidates who work within procurement, property, commercial and facilities management to advance gender equality in the workplace. This year we contacted a selection of the many phenomenal women that we work with who are exceptional in their fields. Our aim? To highlight their leadership successes and celebrate their achievements within traditionally male-dominated industries. We were delighted to receive so many responses across such a variety of specialisms and look forward to continuing our work together throughout the year.
Procurement, property, commercial, and facilities management are sectors where women are still vastly underrepresented, with only a small percentage of leadership positions held by women. However, we are seeing progress being made as more and more women are breaking through the glass ceiling and making significant contributions to these industries. Women in procurement are leading the way in innovation and efficiency, while women in facilities management are ensuring that workplaces are safe, functional, and sustainable.
At Insight Executive, we are committed to supporting the advancement of women in these industries. We work with a wide range of clients and candidates, and we are proud to see many women in leadership roles within their organisations. We believe that diverse perspectives and experiences are essential to driving innovation and success, and we are committed to helping our clients build diverse teams that reflect the communities they serve.
We also know that gender equality is not just a moral imperative, but a business imperative. Companies with diverse leadership teams and workforces perform better, are more innovative, and are better able to respond to the needs of their customers. By supporting International Women’s Day and working to advance gender equality within procurement and facilities management, we are not only confident that we’re doing the right thing, but we are also helping our clients achieve better business outcomes.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we want to acknowledge the phenomenal women we work with every day who are making significant contributions to the people around them, their organisations, and their industries. We are proud to stand with them and to work together to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all.
