“When Someone You Trust Recommends a Place to Work, Everything Becomes Easier” – IEG Expand Ops Team with New Recruit
We are very happy to announce the appointment of Jack Oliver as our new Compliance Officer. He is joining Katie Yanni’s Ops team. Fitting with the IEG model of trust-based recruitment.
Katie and Jack worked together previously. Katie was continually impressed by Jack’s adaptability, reliability and efficiency. Our recruitment team continues to smash company records and targets. And we’ve got more new recruits on the way. So Katie knew that we needed to expand our operations function. She knew that Jack would be perfect for this role. This also ensured that our processes and high-quality work could be maintained.
Jack previously worked at an agency that dealt with hiring interpreters, initially beginning as an apprentice at 18, before progressing to a coordinator role after just a year. Then he took on more responsibility, managing interpreters, delivering inductions, as well as taking charge of onboarding and compliance checks.
When the time came to make the move to Insight, Jack was excited by the prospect of joining an up-and-coming company.
“When I spoke with Katie, she really sold the company to me. I liked the sound of the company culture and how friendly and trusting the working environment was. When someone you trust recommends a place to work, everything becomes easier.”
He has seen the elements of the company that Katie highlighted play out, since he is part of the team.
“The culture is a lot less corporate than I’m used to and everything is less rigid, everyone works together. It’s a lot more team based and less competitive internally, which I like.”
He will be working with our compliance and onboarding guru, Shanelle Quamina, to ensure that all candidates are onboarded and checked to our high standards for clients and frameworks, as well as helping the wider Ops team with working improvements.
Outside of work, Jack is a dedicated family man with a growing young family. He is also a Crystal Palace fan – getting to home games when he can.
