Throughout March, we have been delighted and immensely proud to have been exclusively running a campaign for large scale recruitment across UK Parliament’s Commercial Directorate. The campaign aims to fill twenty roles across three divisions spanning from Commercial Manager roles through to Commercial Deputy Director roles.

This Directorate is responsible for commercial strategy, commercial policy and standards, procurement delivery and contract & supplier management support across the organisation and plays a key role in the operation of the Houses.

We are now launching the final six roles in this campaign which all sit within the Works category as Commercial Managers and Senior Commercial Managers. They will be supporting a large scale complex programme delivery of the upkeep, refurbishment and restoration of the UK Parliament building estate, including UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Palace of Westminster.

The roles offer a unique opportunity to work with one of the most important institutions in the United Kingdom. Successful candidates will work in a collaborative and supportive working environment, alongside talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about providing commercial value at an exciting time of growth and transformation.

“What matters most is the potential of the candidates, the attitude of the candidates, and the level of commercial acumen and awareness that they can bring to the organisation.” – Tom Hyner Commercial Director, Parliamentary Commercial Directorate

This weekend also marks the last few days to apply for any of the campaign roles within the ICT and Strategy & Enablement categories as their closing date is 11:59 pm on Tuesday 28th March.

The ICT roles involve category management for technology covering hardware, software, software support and network infrastructure, whereas Strategy & Enablement is a core enabling function sitting across categories and the leadership team to provide supporting frameworks and controls.

The commercial roles will be based in London and will offer competitive remuneration packages, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits including flexible and hybrid working, professional development opportunities and exposure to high-profile and unique projects.

These roles represent a fantastic opportunity to launch or progress your procurement career within a fantastic and prestigious organisation, working on some truly unique projects. To find out more, and apply visit our specialist microsite.
