Last month, Insight Executive Group’s Operations Manager, Katie Yianni, was able to hand over her highly tuned operations machine and team to take her well-earned maternity leave to prepare for the birth of her first-born child.

It is with absolute delight and excitement that we can now share the news that Katie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who she and her partner Mike have named Elleni Mary Keighrey.

Ellie – as she is affectionately called – was born after a whopping 49 hours on 16th October at North Middlesex Hospital, weighing a very healthy 9lb 11oz. We’re over the moon to report that both mum and baby are happy and well and back at home with dad. We’re sure you’d like to join everyone at Insight in wishing them congratulations and warmest wishes for a healthy and happy future.

We cannot write about Katie without shouting about her fantastic achievements during her first year at Insight Executive Group; Katie joined an operations team with one full-time and one part-time member of staff alongside her. Since then, she has trained her team to support Insight’s rapid growth over the past 12 months, bolstering the department with another two highly skilled, full-time hirers to form the engine of the company. On top of this, Katie has spearheaded the implementation of a new onboarding system which has streamlined our compliance process for all candidates and quickened the onboarding pace so that the average amount of time between a candidate being offered a role and a candidate starting is now just 5 days.

As an active member of IEG’s Senior Management Team, Katie has (at her request) has found the time to keep in touch with her peers on the SMT, attending our latest SMT meeting via Microsoft Teams with Ellie in tow to help keep the meeting on point.
