For the second year running Insight have been recognised by a nationwide industry awards body. After being nominated for 3 awards at last year’s Recruiter Awards, we are very proud to announce that we have been selected as one of the finalists in the Talint International Annual Recruitment Awards in the 3R Best Recruitment Company to Work For (£5m to £20m) category.

This award recognises employers of choice in recruitment who can demonstrate excellence in the attraction, induction, development, and retention of their own talent.

One of the main ways we go about attracting new staff is setting ourselves apart from the competition.Internally, we’ve created an inspiring culture of trust, wellbeing, collaboration, training and development, whilst externally focusing on our specialist markets to successfully deliver recruitment campaigns at scale and at pace.

We’re immensely proud of our track record, repeat business within our niche sectors, and growth. And we put this down to the IEG purpose, methodologies and ongoing investment in people. This has resulted in:

  • 90% employee retention
  • 30% year-on-year employee growth
  • 14% year-on-year productivity increase per employee

And feedback like this from our employees:

“Working for Insight Executive will change all of your ‘assumptions’ about recruitment. You will be hard pressed to find an organisation with more integrity, professionalism and genuine care; not only for each other but for their clients.”

We have achieved this in a variety of ways…

IEG Talent Acquisition

We have worked with an expert in internal recruitment to develop a bespoke acquisition strategy; from mapping and pipelining diverse talent within our niche areas, to developing our thorough interview and induction process.

Training and Development

From day one, for everyone. Our training programme across the company includes:

  • 1-2-1 mentorship with a Senior Director or Co-founder
  • weekly 1-2-1 coaching with external personal development coach
  • skills training across technical and compliance tools and processes
  • fully funded qualifications in digital marketing, copywriting for advertising, leadership training, compliance, and D&I training

Progress and Rewards

Our achievable IEG career pathway scheme has seen more that 30% of team members promoted each year. We are also commitment to personalised outstanding rewards – including jet fighter flights, signed football shirts, and £2,000 charity donations. We strive to reward in ways that genuinely mean something to each recipient.

Inspiration and Contribution

Our CSR programme across the year gives back to causes that share our values. In the past year we have donated thousands of pounds to and supported several causes, including The Wonder Foundation (who empower women worldwide with education), WaterAid, UNICEF, Crisis, and the Trussell Trust.

Our purpose is a truly personal approach to recruitment – as coined by our co-founders, Richard and Nick, seven years ago. They wanted to demonstrate how to ‘do’ recruitment differently – long-term relationships, based on trust, collaboration, and exceptional service.

Doing recruitment differently has worked. We have achieved 30% YOY growth in headcount and profit, a steady increase in clients and candidates, as well as a team of talented people who are able to give back to causes that matter to them and live with a positive work-life balance. We’re excited to see where sticking to these values will take us.
