OUH Overview

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in England. It encompasses four primary hospitals: The John Radcliffe, The Churchill, and The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre located in Oxford, and The Horton General Hospital in Banbury. Furthermore, approximately 6% of OUH’s patients who receive care at 50 satellite sites across Oxfordshire and the neighbouring counties.

Within this campaign, you will have the opportunity to join a strong workforce of approximately 14,000 dedicated individuals. In the year 2021/22 alone, OUH attended to 1.5 million outpatient visits and admitted 172,000 individuals through its Emergency Department. Presently, OUH operates with 1,300 beds, spread across 61 wards, and facilitates medical procedures through 48 operating theatres, encompassing all four hospitals.
