You will bring substantial category and contract management experience, strong commercial judgement and a proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, build effective supplier relationships and deliver measurable procurement improvements and savings. |

Category Manager (Corporate & Capital Procurement) Download Job DescriptionYou will take responsibility for a clinical procurement category or portfolio with an annual influenceable expenditure of approximately £10 million to £20 million. Working closely with clinicians, internal teams, procurement partners and suppliers, you will lead complex sourcing and tendering activity, develop effective category plans and provide expert commercial and contractual advice. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve value and maintain continuity of supply. You will be able to evidence strong category and contract management experience, a successful record of delivering procurement savings and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. |
