Welcome

In May 2023, Hinchingbrooke Hospital, which is run by North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, was added to the Government’s New Hospital Programme. This provided the Trust with confirmation that a much-needed new hospital would be built on the Hinchingbrooke site by 2030.

Insight Executive Group is the sole agency working on behalf of the Trust to source candidates for 29 key appointments for the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme and wider Estates Function. There are various roles available across existing Estates and Capital projects, as well as the New Hospital Programme.

Within this site you will find:

Overview

Each of the appointments documented within the Opportunities page on this website will play an essential role in supporting North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to progress their existing redevelopment programme and move into the next exciting phase: Hinchingbrooke Hospital: The Next Chapter. This is dedicated to building a new hospital on the site by 2030.

North West Anglia Foundation Trust (NW Anglia FT) to develop a new hospital at the Hinchingbrooke Hospital site that is exemplary in its design, sustainability and wider regeneration and economic value.

The development represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity of investment into Hinchingbrooke Hospital and its local communities. The redevelopment is not just about the reprovision the buildings but an opportunity to re-imagine and transform the care that the Trust provides, with new pathways, digital tools, new workforce models and ways of working across acute and out-of-hospital settings.

The redevelopment programme will see the replacement of the existing RAAC hospital, other acute healthcare buildings and critical infrastructure on the Hinchingbrooke Hospital site with a new purpose-built smart digital hospital aligned with the NHP Hospital 2.0 standards by 2030-31. Together with NW Anglia FT, we are incredibly excited at the prospect of the improved experience this will deliver for patients, staff and local communities and in particular, the opportunities it offers the Trust for working with partners to maximise the opportunities the scheme offers.
