The post holder will act as Head of Programme Management Office (PMO) for the HHRP. The PMO will play a central role in the development and monitoring of delivery of the Trust’s Outline and Full Business Cases and ongoing activities associated with the redevelopment programme. The role will be responsible for initiating and overseeing project controls, including governance, approval points, frequency of project reporting, tolerances and producing regular Highlight Reports for Project Delivery Boards.

We are looking for an experienced Senior PMO professional who is enthusiastic, diligent, extremely organised, and who can work autonomously. The People Workstream Lead will lead on the workforce planning of all aspects of the Trust’s hospital redevelopment programme and provide operational leadership into the New Hospital Scheme. They will strategically drive workforce planning and people management to establish Hospital 2.0 for the scheme.
The role will involve utilisation of workforce data and analytics to perform workforce modelling, identify workforce gaps and project future workforce needs. In addition, they will design the future organisation by developing the target the Target Operational Model (TOM), defining organisational structures, roles and ways of working to ensure the future scheme functions efficiently and effectively.

The post holder will be embedded within the Trust’s Operational Division and work with the HHRP Programme team to prioritise structural works, create a forward plan and anticipate and mitigate any impact on operational delivery or patient care that may arise as the result of the works.
The Operations Lead role will be a key member of the Trust’s HHRP and RAAC project teams, acting as the Operational Lead to ensure there is a clear route of dialogue between the Business As Usual ops team and the New Hospital and RAAC teams. The post holder will act as Chief Analyst, leading the Demand and Capacity Modelling for the HHRP. The Chief Analyst will play a central role in establishing the modelling assumptions for the Trust’s Strategic Outline Case, Outline Business case and Final Business case. Alongside the post holder’s responsibilities within the Hinchingbrooke Hospital redevelopment programme, they will also support analytical capacity within the Trust by employing demand and capacity modelling in wider work programmes.
The Chief Analyst is tasked with offering key analysis to senior management and board-level groups to assist with understanding of strategic and operational implications of modelling. The postholder will be expected to act as the senior information representative for the Trust both with divisional/operational leads within the Trust and with external bodies (eg the New Hospital Programme, NHS England Regional Team and the Integrated Care Board). Main Build Project Manager / Construction
The Project Manager will plan and manage the end-to-end construction of the build, working closely with the Trust’s Estates and Capital Projects teams, as well as architects, engineers, contractors, and other specialists, to ensure seamless execution. The post holder will implement a robust quality assurance process to monitor construction quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
They will be tasked with supporting the Programme Manager with development and maintenance of a comprehensive project plan for the construction works, considering timelines, resources, and milestones, and ensuring regular progress updates. The postholder will be expected to oversee the installation and integration of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems and conduct environmental impact assessments, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise the carbon footprint of the construction works and future Hinchingbrooke Hospital site, in line with the Trust’s Green Plan.
